Built for Harold S. Vanderbilt in 1934 by the Herreshoff Manufacturing
Company, notable yacht builders. The yacht was built to defend the America's
Cup that year. The "Rainbow" did not disappoint and the America's Cup was
successfully defended. Designed by Starling Burgess. This replica J-Yacht
"Rainbow" features a beautiful antique finish, plank-on-frame construction,
hand sewn sails and brass fittings. Part of a collectable A-Cup series that
includes a certificate of authenticity. Ideal gift for sailing enthusiasts
and collectors.
